Whether you choose to eat beef, chicken, cat, dog, lizard, or only vegetables, that choice has to be your own. Humans are omnivores, by design we are built for eating and digesting both animal (aquatic and land) and plant protein. Every living thing eats another living thing and all living things are connected. More attention should be paid to how our food is grown and raised versus what type of food we choose to eat. Personally I have no desire to eat dogs, cats, or turtles. My reasons are not right or wrong but a personal preference to me. We do not need the government to tell us what is right and wrong. We need to make those decisions as individuals living within a community.
